Support for Office 2016 for Mac has ended today. Any Office 2016 apps you use on your Mac device will continue to stay installed on your device, work as usual, and retain your data. However, this means that Microsoft will no longer provide software and security updates for Office 2016 for Mac, and there will be no technical support over chat or the phone available for this program. Microsoft recommends that users upgrade to Office 2019 for Mac or Microsoft 365 to stay up to date with all features, patches, and security updates.
